Game 1 GoodFellas put their hitting shoes on and walloped the Ball Breakers 21-9

Game 2: Ball Breakers showed mad heart and pulled out a 12 inning 4-3 classic c to force a deceive 3rd game

Game 3: It was curtains for the Ball Breakers as the Good Fellas restored family honor and won 8-6 to claim the BMSL D League Championship

The league salutes the Ball Breakers on their excellent season and play and Congratulations to Geovanny and the rest of the Goodfellas on their well-earned and deserved championship.

Playoff and Championship action

was definitely entertaining this week

  • TEAM NYL dominated and swept DaCore 8-3 & 13-2 to Capture the 2012 “C” League championship. Congrats to Javi, Ivan, and the whole team on their outstanding season and achievement. That’s Back to Back!!!!!!!!!!!! Is Threepeat in the works?

  • Bitter Rivals locked horns as the GoodFellas and Syndicate got down to playoff business. Game one saw the GoodFellas snatch a dramatic 7-6 victory, but the series was evened at a game apiece when the Syndicate edged out a 2-1 victory to force a decisive game three. The rubber game was all GoodFellas as they eliminated all enemies of the family by cruising to a 7-2 series clinching victory.
  • The Ball Breakers were ruthless and kicked the fight out of the Gallos by sweeping them 7-1 & 6-4.

  • In 20 years Dave Meline had never won a BASL championship.  Dave is a good friend and one of the most respected, funniest, and greatest competitors our league has ever known but 2012 championship glory didn’t look likely when his squad Softball Anarchy dropped game one of their best of three to the Warlocks 8-6. However, Dave’s 20 year curse would be broken as his team rallied for two big wins 4-2 & 8-2 to earn championship glory. The league would like to congratulate Mr. Meline and Softball Anarchy for earning the 2012 E League Championship.  Well done

More Lives than a cat in BMSL 2nd Round Playoff Action

• Team NYL sang “New York New York” proudly after advancing by sweeping the puppies, I uh mean Wolfpack, 5-3 (8 innings good game) and 7-0
• Da Core Dominated the Straight Ballerz 7-1 & 10-0. Strong up the middle.

• Its playoff time and that means its Syndicate time. They downsized the Screwballs 9-4 & 5-4. Professional!!!!!
• The GoodFellas took control of their playoffs series versus the Spartans by winning easily 12-6, but on brilliant pitching the Spartans evened the series by throwing a brilliant 1-0 shutout. However, in crunch time the GoodFellas showed their worth and advanced to the final four by winning 6-3. Good series
• The Ball Breakers hurt Farrels by ending their season with 6-5 & 10-5 victories
• In an exciting series, the Gallos defeated the SickFish in 3 games. Game one the Gallos played solid ball to win 4-2, but in comeback fashion SickFish prevailed 7-4 in game two to force a decisive game three. In the rubber game, the Gallos proved to be the better team and won easily 8-0.

“E” LEAGUE – had the best playoff Series

• Trailing 2-1 in the 5th the Warlocks came up with 5 runs in the 6th inning to win 6-2 versus the MVP’s. Game Two was just as good as the Warlocks won a 2-1 nail-biting thriller. The Warlocks definitely have more lives than a cat.
• The Warlocks and Softball Anarchy engaged in a softball playoff war last week. Game one has snatched by the Wolfpack when they scored a run in the seventh to win 9-8, but Softball Anarchy was pissed and crushed them 11-3 in game two to force a Game 3. Using the momentum from their lopsided game 2 win, Softball Anarchy won big, 8-0, to advance. They didn’t need a cat
